This is a good book about a 22 year old who just graduated college and is trying to figure out what to do next. He wants to marry his girlfriend and have kids, but she wants to break up. So he moves from California to Buenos Aires (where the writer lives) to start a new life. He goes through the process of learning Spanish, meeting new people in a new city, and eventually finding a new girlfriend. Brian is mad wholesome and is a decent person, which is nice.
