Great book on teaching and learning. Paolo Freire is concerned most with the ethics of teaching--how to continue learning, how to respect your students as people, what it means to be a person in the world. He writes about how to impact your students in ways that will stick with them and mostly importantly he is calling on educators to be responsible for that which they teach. Education is not about transferring knowledge but teaching curiosity.
