A book told by the perspective of a cat–NICE.
I enjoyed reading this last night. It was almost 11pm, and my kid was finally really asleep. She and Her Cat had come in the mail earlier so I grabbed it and sat down. I was tired and sad, but I read it straight through. The art is great. The voice is cute. The story is relevant.
The girl is relatably lost after college. Living alone, struggling to maintain friendships, hustling out the door every morning for work. But her cat loves her and looks at her with adoration just for existing. Just for being there and always coming back home.
