The Hunchback of Neiman Marcus is made up of easy, thoughtful poems that tell a full story about a woman whose daughter is about to go to college and whose mother is experiencing worsening health problems. Not to mention Holly has a great husband and a book deadline she can't keep up with. Like the whole book she is actually avoiding writing. Running here and running there. Worrying about if she is starting to look old or if things will be okay in her marriage when they're alone. I liked being able to flip forward fast page by page and live that life for a little while. It was cute.
