There's this dude on the street who was interested in my first book back when I first wrote it. I was selling it hand to hand and he was cool but he said couldn't possibly pay for it. So I was like okay. Then another day he mentioned it and I was like you could take the book and pay me another day he was like nah I don't want to owe you. The next time I saw him I gave it to him like here you can have it.
That kinda situation is why I want to make a way for other people to buy books for people out here and who want a book but can't get it themselves. People who would read but don't have a good book. Kids around my way, adults around my way, people who are locked up right now. I post books here and anyone can buy one for someone. Then Ten Dollar Books will put it in their hand (or in the mail if it's to a jail).
