This is a memoir written about Hafner’s first marriage, which was physically abusive. She explains the long process of meeting him, marrying him, and leaving him. This would be a good book for anyone who doesn’t “get” abusive relationships (or for someone trying to get out of one). Short chapters, easy to read, very honest.
