Big novel that follows the lives of a Korean family in NYC. The main character is Casey, a woman in her 20s trying to figure out her life. She's in debt, good at making hats, and having a weird time in her romantic relationships. She's also trying to hang onto her friendships and figure out what to do with her parents. Min Jin Lee follows the very European-romantic novel style of touching every character's psyche--the dad's background, the doorman's thoughts, the choir director's intentions. It's cool. Got this book in Alabama.
