Classic book. I love Malcolm X and this book tells a great story about confidence and self-empowerment. It covers his whole life--from a young kid to a wild teen to a thoughtful adult. Then he was killed before the book was released. Crazy. Loved reading about his relationship with Islam and how he taught himself to read in jail. His words really resonate. And the co-writer Alex Haley is the person who wrote Roots, so this is a cool story all around.
