There's something special about holding a book in your hands. The pages, the weight, the design. The way you are thrown into another person's train of thought, primed for their information. Receiving months or years of research and thinking and writing before it landed in your hands.
It's also free from being tracked from surveillance. You read it and there's no screen blinding you, no camera watching you, to smartphone tracking you. No one knows what book I'm reading or what page I'm on or how fast I'm going or anything. It's just me and the book.
